Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!!! :)

I am thinking about coming to the bay on tuesday, and i was wondering if you could let me know what the current ice conditions are. Hay Bay, Bellville, ect. Where would be my best (and safest) bet to come. Your help is GREATLY appreciated, seeing how i will be travelling over 3 hours to get to the bay.

I hope you all have a great christmas, and good fishing!

Thanks again!

Jon

With the warm weather we've had, I might reconsider my 3 hr trip and wait for colder conditions.

Perhaps, others will see the Bay and offer an opinion from being closer to the Bay.

I'd wait............

Ws out today for an hour...lots of slush and ice deteriorating fast. Can only get worse over the next few days if what they are calling for is correct. I will be leaving it now until we get colder weather. Would advise others to do likewise.

P.S....update as of 28/12/05...no improvement...still risky...wait for that real cold spell...
