Well we took advantage of the calm conditions Tuesday and fished from the ferry east to Keith's shoal. Most fish marking in the 80+ ft range with a few bait balls showing in the 40-65 ft range. No takers...oh well it was a gorgeous afternoon. 3 pm till sunset. 8 other boats out there and no one seemed to get any. Talked with two other boaters who were out longer and nothing for either. Wednesday fished out of Lake Ontario Park west. Bass were visible in the 17-20 ft range, lost two...great aerobatics and no other takers. Fish marking off Lemoine's Point in 100-104 ft large bait balls with lots of fish around them. Fish were from bottom to 60 ft range. That was at 1030 am. Headed back to BOQ and launched at he Hay Bay Church at 3pm and headed over past Sherman's Point. Fish didn't seem to start marking until the north side near the bluff in 40+ ft of water. Few bait lines with fish in tow. No hits. Switched up lures every 20-30 mins. 20-30 divers and color changes too. Planer boards and flat lines. Zig zag and eyes crossed, nothing worked. My son took a nap in the bottom of the boat but I was loving every minute of November awesomeness. Called it a night at 515pm headed home. Good time spent on the water with my son. Keep the posts coming and if anyone needs a partner in the coming days shoot me a message. Pictures to follow.

Guess we passed you in the afternoon, saw a boat with someone sleeping in the front.

Hard to maintain confidence with gorgeous conditions and a lack of fishing activity.

Thanks for sharing

I think today should find the eyes moving up and starting to hit with the cloud cover and little ripple. Good luck today and let us know how you make out.

Same thing Today (Thursday 11/5) worked from the light house to pryners . picture was good marked a lot of fish no takers, my guess is they are feeding at night...... ended my day in the reach around 2 pm and went inside started at the cement plant and trolled all the way into picton harbor and I will tell you this, the bay inside is so full of bait that there is no reason any fish could possibly be hungry in that area lot of big hooks all around the bait...... brite side I did manage one good fish too big to keep. most the bait I marked in in the deep east side was pushed up on the side of big drops and fish were around them mostly just sitting on the bottom base of big drop off areas or on the top like they had bait sandwiched between them my walleye skunk is gone but just a fluke

I was out Friday and Saturday with Rob, Monday with Dave and Wednesday alone , grand total of fish in the boat 3, trolled for 18 hours total, threw all the usual gear at them but looks like they had lots of bait to chow down on. Started at Keiths , to the light house, to the Bat Cave to Pryners. Passed a few Charter boys (they had the same success) Fished the Reach...lol Nice fish Pete !!
