Quinte Fishing

Hi all. Got some ice conditions to pass on. Skyway bridge at Deseronto has 3" + fish being caught. [word from bait shop] Out River Road in front of Oneil's has 8", changes to about 5" a bit west. Got skunked there last night + I thought the ice was the soft white kind, not the dark solid. Up around Hickory Lane there is about 4 1/2 ", so I assume the ice in between is the same. Also heard there are fish being caught on Hay Bay, not sure where or of ice conditions. There are a few huts out on River Road area + some guys had ATV's out. We need a good cold snap to tighten up what ice is there + add some to it. Anywho, be careful out there + good luck. "Keep the wind off your ass + your line in the water", Al
