Not since the red wine and the 2" porterhouse?

Don't believe everything you hear , funny that the gentleman who supposedly caught the fish has not made any claims , no bump board pics , no pics on a IGFA certified scale just hearsay from guys who were not even on the boat ,I do hope it is true as it would finally break that mythical 16 lb mark ,maybe he didn't want it out as common knowledge because of the circus that follows big fish ,if there is no proof than all you can say is Congrats "NICE FISH" . For the guys that are saying there is no information being shared , why do you really care , the same thing happens every fall the fish come in from the big lake following the bait , you may or may not catch a few go out and have fun "Fishing"

it is kind of crazy when you think about it. and all the stories you hear out there. the only real way I can see this debate totally come to light in my opinion is to put money where someone's mouth is lol . yes that's right guys we need to put out a bounty on a big fish and then people will either drag in the fish to collect the bounty (Witch is almost certain. People love money more than a big fish ) . or it just becomes hear say that is also unfounded. and just a claim by someone for what ever reason that they caught a fish of a size that thousands of fishermen only dream of catching!

Seems easy to do really 1000 guys on this board all kick in one dollar and we now have a 1000 dollar bounty for the next guy who drags in a 16 pound fish. I wonder just how long it will be before an actual 16 pound fish is brought in to be weighed on a scale. belly cut open to check for lead or 5 pounds of bait stuffed inside a dead fish lol and here is your 1000 dollars. it seems every year some have brought up this topic. and every year someone boats a 16 pound walleye being caught. but it always becomes a he said they said but no one is sure thing.

For the record I don't buy into the whole put the big ones back when I see so many 12 pound fish held up in a group picture in a boat full of guys in the media out there also im quite sure someone would drag a 16 pound fish in if he knew for a fact he would get the bounty money. people are people and human nature is human nature and only thing you have to protect against is lire's, and cheaters trying to collect a bounty using falsifications

Yesterday air temp. +7 water temp 39.8.. pressure was on the rise. winds built from calm in the morning winds from the west to 10 knots ssw by late day with a bit of a white horse chop. I ran a one rod spread and apparently the flavor was RR Barbie 130 back bite came on late day because they did not like my RR Barbie 125 back the half hour I ran it from 12 too 12:30 . fish seem to be scattered, if you see lots of bait move off that area.
