Anyone have any experience with this outfitter? Booked a weekend there to do some ice fishing with buddies in February and just wondering if there's feedback. Never been on BOQ - what's th fishing like in North Port??

I stayed there 6 or 7 years ago but it was open water season. The cabins are decent and the owners are good people. I'd call them a couple weeks before you go and inquire about ice conditions in case you need to cancel. Ice can be sketchy in that area sometimes.

Good Luck!!

Thanks for the reply. I followed up with them a few days ago just to inquire about conditions and they're already report about 2-4 inches. Not enough for me hoping that February is much better.

Fingers crossed!

BUON77 we've been going there at least twice a winter for the last several winters. Always have a good time and catch fish. Great people to stay with. I don't think Mark knows how to count Minnows either, if you know what I mean. Lol

This will be our 30th yr. for fishing both open water and ice fishing at Sunset Farms. The Rabbie family have always been excellent hosts. You are picked up and returned to your warm cabin with 2 Argos pulling a fully enclosed trailor, and will accomodate needs throughout the day. The huts are propane heated and always generous with the minnows. Like fishing anywhere there are no guarantees, but we have enjoyed some excellent outing over the years. 1st and last light are always the best bite.

Great feedback. Do they do their best to keep you on top of the fish, meaning, do they tend to move their huts around often??
