Just wondering if anybody drove by potters yet to see if the ice lsted with ll tht water then crazy winds..it looked ruff at arnd six but wa thinking it might make it through the night..well after those winds im not to sure..i know it wont be afe for couple days again..just wondering if it kept the lid on or got ripped apart by wind and water?

I just drove over the bay bridge at lunch and this is what I saw. The ice from the bay bridge looking east is gone. Its wide open right to rush bar and looks like into big bay too. There is still ice in that section along the shores but obviously not safe. Looking west as I drove over the bridge it is iced over. That said, the ice looked like swiss cheese from the bridge to about the cemetery with LOTS of holes the size of a swimming pool and larger . Obviously not safe. Today there is a snow squall advisory in place and forecast of up to 10 cm of snow predicted. Hopefully it misses the area as that would make the ice even more dangerous!

Ya potters is open rnd shore and looks like just a skim of slush left and more winds itll trash the little left..and honestly thinking if we get all thos snow it might juat butcher quinte for most the year

I checked this morning in Bayside area no ice from gas station on old Hwy 2 right past bakers island not good. :evil:

Ice all the way in the bay to Hay bay church mostly gone or broken up
From Hay bay church up to to Thompsons point and down the reach towards Deseronto gone

just got off 3.5 " of ice out back for the last 4 hours.... got skunked. :(

Seen a "stoopid" head out to me on a quad to show off.. ugggh!!

Mohawk bay deseronto area all covered with smashed and crushed jagged ice which is freezing, it is definitely a mess out there

Hey gone fishing where did you find ice on the bay that held up, i checked a few spots i figured would be gd maybe and they were destroyed...

He's not on the Bay of Quinte but good luck getting him to tell you where he is....my guess is Moira Lake.

Wow, we need good cold weather before I risk it. Ice here Thursday... gone Saturday... ice returns 1 day in moderate cold and people try and go out.
Not for me thanks.
