Hope he will be OK. Not sure if this is what happened but those with 5lbers such as myself keep them outside your hut.

I know this kid I heard either tried starting fire with gas or somehow the gas can in hut (likely gas for his auger caught fire) was taken to sunny brook in burn bus.

Went out to booster this morning and parked by the launch to have a look at conditions and drink my timmies.... Guess who happened to be out at one of the huts... The fellow that had the accident. We shot the breeze for a good twenty mins or so. I haven't read the news report, but he was bandaged up pretty good. Told me they put him in a drug induced coma for 17 hours. He was in good spirits and seemed to be doin pretty good considering. Hard to keep a good man down!
