Made my way out to Aikins Friday morning. There were approximately 15 huts on the ice as well as 1 snowmobile. Ice thickness varied from 4-6 inches with thicker ice the further out we drilled. Tough fishing however my uncle iced his PB, a 12.1 lb eye, caught on a gold spoon in 16fow. Moved to Potters for the afternoon bite. Heard the morning bite was good around Andersons, 8 eyes iced between 3 guys. One quad on the ice at Potters. Talked to others who had fished the mouth of the river. 2-3 inches.
