Quinte Fishing

Been a while but it's a habit of mine,every ice season to ask......
....the weather has been kinda poor and i couldnt help but notice durring the 'good ice' thus far this season,there was plenty of little villages out on the bay of quinte.....so heres my call out...
we all by now should have a funny,odd,or interesting story to share..lets here it!...
Im always the first to drop one to start it but,i dont have much to offer this season only 2 outtings

Had the mother in law in the hut last family day weekend. Trying to show her how the graph works and how to read it. Having a bit of success landing some perch when they all seem to disappear. I grab the big williams spoon and jig away trying to get the school to come back. All of a sudden the screen went black and her little ultralight corked right over. 10 mins later she pulled an 8+lb pike through the hole on 4 lb test line. I cut open my fingers trying to gill this tank thru the 5" hole. less than 1/2 hour later she was bored and went back to the house to read a book. Hard woman to impress I guess. LOL
