I haven't been down there myself for a week now. When I was there Ice conditions were just getting
To their safest state this year and there still wasn't much ice. I know
There was open water reported not to far south of Thompsons point. If you find anything out would be much appreciated on my end as well. I think I am
Going to break down and check in AM but I really don't think it will
Be the best.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't open up by thurs with this warm and then the rain coming on Tuesday. Zero chance I'd be risking high current areas right now.

As of Tuesday night, Hay Bay and Sherman's Point had 4.5 to as much as 9 inches of ice. Got thinner quickly as you moved into the reach. Expect the rain reduced that some last night and today. Absolutely nothing biting.

Huffs had 4-7 on Monday. Doubt it is safe now. Saw one guy catch three in the 4-6# range. I caught one that went 8#3oz. No other fish. Roughly 25 people fishing.
