With all this warm weather and and lack of safe ice, I've been thinking a troll east of the ferry maybe what's in order.. What's it looking like out that way? Anyone know if the ramp next to the ferry dock is accessible?

Can't say 1st hand what the ramp is like as I live far away but if no locals chime in you could try calling the ferry service, they would know

Finkles is good to go. I believe the reach has ice to just west of Sandhurst.
We will be out tomorrow.

We had had a great of laker fishing on Sunday was very surprised not to see any other trailers at the ramp.
Can't remember a January 31rst out in the boat before and it looks like we might have a few more opportunity's
in the near future.

Rob, you gotta get up earlier than that! You can"t catch 40 in 4 hours lol.

cheers.

HAHAHA, I enjoyed the sleeping in. Well at least Dan won't be sore this morning, that last day wrecked him.

Looks like I'll be taking the cover off the boat and heading out this weekend....depending on the wind!! Anyone know how the fishing along the reach is? The last time I was there was mid December and the walleye were elusive.
