hello everyone we were ice fishing useing our ice 55s we think one transducer is toast, we couldnt pick up our jigs in 24 ft of water on narrow beam on the one and on wide it would send out so much interferance the other one would be unusable, could this be caused by a faulty transducer?

Sounds like 1 of 2 things if you were asking me. 1- to much current in water flow(moves the lure out of range ) or 2- not enough battery as a battery gets weak it will not produce enough juice to work the transducer correctly. I would go wth current and water flow if it was me and the ice 55 is not more then 2 yrs. old

If you are using a 9/19 transducer a quick reference for cone shape is .5 ' for every 1' depth on the 9 degree cone so .5 X 24' = 0 at ice and 12 feet at 24' or bottom.
19 degree give you 1-1 so 0 at ice and 24' at 24 feet down or bottom.
