Are you heading out there any time this week tdoug. I`d like to give point anne a try. what road is it you take to get down to the water and how deep were you fishing? I got one close to 11# out of 15 ft just east of cow island.

The Taylor's I'm talking about are Shawn,Ted(T&T Mechanics),Doug. We have fished that area for about 10 years. Fisherman: going out this afternoon, then on weekend if ice holds up.You go east out of Belleville down #2 hwy untill you hit Point Anne lane road can't miss it,when the road goes from 4 lane to 2 lanes right on your right.Go to the "T" in road and go right and you will follow road and look left you will see were everybody's been going out.We go west on the ice after you are out of the cove,we fish from 14' to 17' of water. 8)

A buddy of mine hit the Trent Saturday in teh boat, he said he was the only boat out there and never got a sniff... Not sure how seriosly he fished or what time of day it was......

If anyone tries this, be sure your motor is reliable as the current is moving a helluva lot faster than it does in the regualr boating season..

Doug.. looks like this coming weekend will be postponed as well... damnit only only one more weekend (Feb 4-5) available for me.. Hope there is ice down there soon...
