Dan.

Thanks for the offer. It'll keep me happy over the summer just thinking about it.

Until then buddy.

Fished the boq four times this year, fished it for the first time once last year. came in feb one day when the ice was alright, me and my brother skunked other than some nice Jumbo's and a small eye. Came back two Mondays ago alone, soon as I dropped lines I had a fish on, went 2/3 in the morning, got a big steelhead targeting perch mid day? Wild fight on perch gear. Hit another two on the evening bite, 3/4 fish that day were pretty small one was about 5ish. Came back last weekend, fished Saturday at big bay, didn't mark anything in the morning moved to petes in the insane winds, moved all over and didn't get anything. Fished Sunday iced an alright eye on the am bite around 5lbs, came back that evening, I got set up and my buddy came out to fish with me and as soon as he got there came to the hut to grab a minnow and boom put his leg tho the ice a foot beside my hut. Same spot I had walked over already a couple times, ice in the hole 2 feet away was 6". I didn't spud my way out that time as I feel dumb for it, the ice he went tho was about an inch of white. I weight about 130lbs but I'm still surprised I didn't go in, musta be a skimmed over crack. We moved about 200 feet away and said skrew it its prime time let's fish, I went 2/3 both about 19". We planned to fish Monday but after the rain and +6 temps during the night we said skrew it and left. I feel like I did OK for being out there a total of five times now and being a general ice walleye noob. I use this board for info but rarely have anything good to add so I figured I'd post a report, cheers guys and tight lines.
