Quinte Fishing

Since I'm not familiar with the area, how is the ice conditions and fishing been in and around Trenton. I arrive on Saturday for a week of fishing in the area and would love to know what exists. I've posted before here, but haven't heard much about Trenton area.

Also, are perch pretty common in the Bay? Best bets for perch. Thanks.

going over the bridge yesterday, the ice looks terrible, if you can find some open water around and get to it safely, there are LOTS of perch, I was catching them around dam 1 when I was actually looking for steelhead.

Last Saturday three guys fishing by boat in the mouth of Trenton River.
