Good morning folks. I am looking for a little info on Finkles launch. It doesn't look like there is a large amount of parking on Googlemaps. I drive an F-250 4 door short box with a 201 Mako CC on a 25' trailer. On the New York side and down south the launches are made with these size rigs in mind. During the week how busy does this launch get when there are browns around? I am hoping to make the trip down from the south west side of Ottawa in the next few weeks. Any hints or help with browns would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone caught any browns in the area yet? If Finkles is busy ,is Collins Bay a good alternative? If so parking doesn't look any better there? Do these launches have a good drop off?
Thanks for any and all info.
Mitch.

Both have decent ramp drop offs, Finkles would be better, it has a nice dock for temp mooring while you'll have to scramble on large rocks at Collins Bay, see my post pics re: Collins bay

Finkles launch has a nice ramp and dock but taking a guess I'd say only enough parking for about 10 trucks with trailers. I've gone past every day this week and have only seen one car and trailer there. I imagine it's on account of the windy conditions this week. I was hoping to get out this weekend but the weather isn't looking the gratest so I might hold off until next weekend.
