20 thousand brown trout will be delivered to Athol Bay on Tuesday March 29th about 3 pm.
another 20 thousand will be delivered on Monday April 4th about 3 pm.
These are large advanced yearlings. :D :D :D

The stocking site is where County Rd. 12 turns and runs along the Lake.
Hope to see some people out to lend the driver a hand. I will be there.

Al

Thanks for the update, things are looking up over the next few years. Should be some good fishing in the future. Will there be another boat survey this year?

Yes David boots would be an asset.

Also going to look for my cherry bombs and bangers to keep the gulls at bay.

Yes, As a matter fact I was talking to Mike Yuille at Glenora about that this morning. Boat diaries will be ready in a couple weeks.

Well folks, the truck arrived after a missed turn and then parked and set out the tubes from the tanks and the fish were on their new journey into the big Lake.

Image

A good crew was on hand to assist and offer lots of advise

Image

The last tank was emptied into the lake and the fish were having a situation with the waves, but we could see them heading away from the shore and enjoying their new found freedom.

Let us hope that there is a high survival rate and the fishing will continue to grow.

All the brown trout fishers owe Trannyman a big THANKS for his tireless efforts for the trout and the salmon.

It was a pleasure to be there and assist in a very small way to the growth of the Browns in the big Lake.
