Quinte Fishing

Hello all,

My name is John Wager, you may have noticed my new ad up on the home page (Meal On A Reel Charters). Some of you know me through ice fishing, as we have a parking area for the public to use on Big Island.

Living on the Bay Of Quinte has given me the opportunity to spend much time on the water fishing with family and friends. I've always thoroughly enjoyed taking people fishing. With the purchase of a larger boat in the early spring of 2015, I decided to go ahead and get my certification to do fishing charters. Year one was great! I took it slow, not taking on too much while tweaking my boat and gear. Can't wait to get 2016 up and running! The boat is ready and I'm watching the weather, hoping to get out for trout next week.

I wanted to make a mention of thanks to those own have served as great help to me with great advice re my boat and gear etc. You know who you are.

John is a great guy and a good fisherman...or he is a good guy and a great fisherman...I can't remember which on. Lol. His new boat is a BEAUTIFUL 28' Boston whaler with twin 250hp engines and very well appointed with good electronics and fishing equipment. Anyone looking for a charter won't be disappointed with his setup.

Clients to the Bay of Quinte have never been more fortunate with a selection of charter operators that are all great anglers and well setup. John is a great addition to the team and I LOVE the name "Meal on a Reel Charters"!!! So awesome.
