I'm fairly new to pulling planer boards so I'm going with two braid set ups on my lighter rods, and two mono set ups on my stiffer rods, and see how that goes for now. I have the mono already purchased, so if I want to switch later I can, thanks!

I don't think you'll regret running a couple braid rods. I'm a fan of mono but forced to choose one or the other, it would be braid for sure. Best of luck in the coming season!
