got a lead on a 1997 Ranger Bass boat. 385XT I believe. 18 ft, matching trailer, 150 hp 2 stroke Evinrude with good compression. Terrova bow mounted trolling motor. new upholstry on all 5 seats, 3 new batteries, new trailer wiring and tires, 3 livewells. Appears in great shape. Price is 10K. would say it's a 8/10.

I've never bought this style of fishing boat so don't really know their values. Tks in advance for any info!

I don't know a lot about ranger boats. But there are lots of 19 year old 18 foot boats that go for more then 10 grand. All depends on condition and extras. From what I've read you have to be more careful checking out older fiberglass boats.

I think 97 was right around when they went to composite material for transom and stringers (significant as wood transom tend to rot once moisture gets in). I have no comment on price but do make sure you have the engine inspected by a mechanic, an engine compression test, and if possible a leak down test. If the engine pops you'll easily be into $5000+ having it rebuilt. Good luck on your decision. Bassboats are fun boats to drive

Of fifteen grand plus buying a new engine.. I would deff have a marine survey done on the boat before you spend ten grand ita deff abit older..if its in good shape and runs well its worth what your willing to pay for it...i would say look in kijiji though as there is lita for sale right now for smoking price
