Hello everyone. I coach a High School Fishing Team in Kingston. We've been running for 3 years now and are now looking into possibly create a fishing course(s). Over the past couple of years we've received grant money to get kids outdoors. That money is no longer available so we are looking for another source to sent kids to compete at Educast (tournament late May) and to the CBAF (TBF). Canadian Bass Anglers Federation is now starting to run highschool tournaments and championships with the winners competing on Kentucky lake in Tennessee. Lenny Devos, renegade pro and the Canadian Open Champ this past year, has helped out the Fishing Team tremendously by putting together a raffle package to help our kids. Attached is a photo of the front.
1st place: All inclusive fishing trip for 2 with Lenny Devos
2nd place: All inclusive trip with Dr. Bruce Tufts
3rd place: Ultra tungsten Tackle package and Vigor sunglasses ($180 dollar value) donated by Pro David Chong
4th place: Hookset marketing tackle package ($100 value)

The 1st place winner will have the choice to fish with Lenny or Bruce. Time and location will be worked out with the winner and the Pro.
Tickets will be $10 for one or 3 tickets for $20.
Draw will be June 15th.
Let me know if you are interested in purchasing tickets. Thank you.

Need an internet source to donate please. Do you hold a junior competition on quinte to get youngsters out on the water?

Thanks for all the support guys,
not really sure the best way to get tickets to guys out of town, but I'm sure we could figure something out. Im not that tech savvy to set up an Internet pay site. I'll check with our IT guy at school. But I can leave a bunch of tickets in the main office at our school or contact me and we can set up a time.Holy Cross Kingston is located at 1085 Woodbine Rd.

Haven't had anything on the water in quinte besides taking them in the fall on a walleye charter and last year a little ice derby off of perfect Vue. Most of our students, regularly, fish out that way though. There's a teacher, Michael Gilbert out of St. Theresa in Belleville that has started a club as well, so hopefully in the near future we can get something rolling.

JimW, we are planning at trip to Educast again on the Friday and then another charter for salmon on the sat. Hope to see you there as well.

Thanks again for the support.
Tim

I would be interested in purchasing a ticket. I am only interested in fishing with Bruce Tuft. If I won anything else, I willfully donate it right back.

To anyone reading this, this one prize would be a treasure trove of knowledge. Highly recommended, but is most suitable to either an avid angler or someone that aspires to actually know their stuff and not just dabble in it.

Please advise. I would mail in anything required.

I welcome buying this via mailorder and am willing to take my chances. Yup.....I would like to fish with Bruce Tuft. My idea of celebrity fishing is a bit different, but this man is one that I cannot recommend enough if you ever have a chance to hear him speak about his area of expertise. This is the most interesting prize I have seen in a long time.

Tim,

Sounds like a good plan. My high school team, from Athens will be fishing the tournament again on the Friday as well plus our usual salmon charter on Saturday as well.

I am helping another school in Smiths Falls get a fishing club going this year as well. Maybe if we get a few more schools in the East going we can get some more high school fishing events in Eastern Ontario.

JimW

I'll take 3, I can stop by the school at the front desk if that works.
