Congrats to Bill Barber. I'm assuming that is our very own Trophy Hunter from the site. Great fisherman, great guy

Thanks Mike , fish were a little tough to come by but some good ones to be had , had a great opening night fish came on stick baits shallow and slow , Griz stayed up all night sunset to sunrise that was worth a trophy in itself , Matt held the seat down and scared the bugs off with his patented noise suppression ( sounds like snoring ) really great night, good friends tons of laughs and some really nice fish ,too bad the biggest one broke Matt DBZ off at the boat :D

Dave Chong throws more casts in a year than most of us do in a lifetime...If you don't already have carpal tunnel syndrome, it's probably not an issue. He may get it some day though... :P

Oh he has it. We were talking before the prize ceremony and I said the exact same thing. He said he had it very bad a few years back and it took along time to heal. He now does exercises and stretches during the winter

Thank you for the congrats guys but I don't deserve it. The kids do. We had 4 boys on the boat from Saturday around 4 pm until 12:30 am. They were troopers and had a great time. We usually fish all weekend with the same crew but this year had the kids for Saturday evening/night. I don't think I'll have another opener without them now. They had a blast. It was fun to see their excitement bringing fish in, weighing them, taking them to the weigh station and then watching the leader board. I think they are hooked. Thank you Kiwanis for putting on a great tournament and thank you to all the volunteers that run the weigh stations.

Scott
