Does anyone know who drives the tug boat out of Meyers pier. If you do ask him if can break the ice in front if the launch at Rossmore. There is about 80 feet of ice from stopping anybody from launching there. Then there is open water from Cow island to Meyers Pier and right to and past the bay bridge. There would be some good jigging in that area.

Just went for a drive to see if the boat launch is open at rossmore but still about 30-40 feet of ice in front.I was suprised how open the bay is around myers pier to cow island and looks beyond cow is.,This rain we had sure hasn't helped.I do realize the tug is out in harbour but still really open.
