Busy upcoming Weekend on the water.

Just an FYI to folks this weekend is opening weekend for bass and their are a couple of tournaments on the Bay. Saturday is the Quinte Bass Champs tournament. That tournament typically runs well over a 100 boats and then on Sunday is The Quinte Fishing Series tournament with 75 boats. Additionally its suppose to be a beautiful weekend which will also bring out pleasure boaters and the weekend anglers. Lots of folks on the water, be safe, give everyone lots of space and heads up when driving.

No bass is safe and there won't an open weedline from Trenton to Glenora....good luck everyone.....will be fun fishing Sunday morning.

Were these tournaments always on opener? And when you say leave lots of space while driving, how about when fishing?

Yes the tournaments have always been on opener. There were a few years where it was the week after opener. Yes you're right space for everyone fishing and driving.

With all my friends yakking about bass opener can't believe I over looked that. With tournaments on Saturday we decided it was going to be super busy on the water and are not going to head out that way and will come out thru the week...
I was blinded by walleye fever!!! Lol
