I'm taking my dad on a day trip to Quinte for largies this Sunday.

We are thinking about focusing on Adolphus Reach....basically the ferry to the gap.

If anyone has any hints for me, I'd truly appreciate it....PM is fine.

I'm assuming following the deep breaks should do the trick....but if anyone could lend me a hand, I'd be truly appreciative.

Cheers!!

I haven't fished down that way this year so can't give any updated info. In the past have done well fishing the cane at loyalist campground, behind bass island and the first bay just pass the ferry including the ferry pilings,

Just wanted to provide a "thank you" Dan for your assistance.

My father and I ended up hitting Lake Seymour due to higher than forecasted winds on Sunday (gee, what a surprise).

Seymour was full of bass boats sitting on the same spots.....that lake is so overfished...

we did manage a half dozen bass, but should have went to Quinte and just fished big bay.....

I'm going to get back to my original plan however as I know the reach is an underfished location for large mouth.

Thanks again bud....and I'll report back once I do :)

Location: kingston, ontario
no water in areas dan mentioned
would be more of a deeper contour line pattern this time of year. 8-20 feet
expect pike, walleye and smallies as well as any thing on roam from lake. other then large mouth.
