Got out in my Hobie, this just past Sunday. Caught 2 walleye quick flat lining taildancers.
A pod of eyes where busting up shad along the south shore, look like migrators to me, figure should be near the Bat cave now.
Caught 2 drum as well, 1 was a pig. Boat control was tricky in the kayak, would have slayed em in a motor boat.

Thanks for the update Brent. Next week I'd like to take my uncle out if the wind isn't to strong we'd be happy with some action and eater size walleye. Gona start at Thompsons point

No problem Bobby and Littledog, was a good day, and rarely find the bite sux. Action in the Reach should be picking up soon.

Cjriggz, you were asking about lures earlier, here's the link to a poll we did last year.

Awesome day to fish today! The only thing that would have made it better is a bite or two. There were at least 20 boats trolling the reach that I saw, mostly around Keith's to the bat cave. From 8:30am to 1:00pm I caught nothing, and saw nothing caught by others. Same thing 1-2:30pm at Prinyer's, 3 other boats over that way. Did anyone have a good bite anywhere today? I didn't see the charter boats so the best action must have been further west..

Outrage
We were one of those boats, up n down past the bat cavenada till we found ourselves west bound at the ferry it was 4pm so we pulled in the two middle rods went 500 yards past the ferry and the starboard rod went off, of course it was my sons side of boat !!
55' FOTW, 26", 7.5lbs, go figure.
Great day to be outside, the fish was the bonus
