Last day of October and the weatherman said GO!!

Laker John & I headed out and had the lines in the water at 0830 in Middle Hay Bay, marked a lot of baitfish and some marks. Water temp when we started was 46 Degs F.

Made a couple passes with nothing to show, so we headed for Huffs to have a look. Trolled from the red marker almost to the green marker and back trying multiple combinations of lure and depths. Nothing to show for our attempts. Water temp at Huffs was 47 Degs F

Trolled from Grandfather's Cove over towards Thompson's and back into Hay Bay. Still nothing.

Back to Hay Bay, and trolled for another couple hours with no results. Fishing was terrible but the weather was spectacular no wind and a warm sun. Water temp at 1315 was 49 degs F.

Got the old skunkaroo but it was nice to be out.

Stay Tuned.

Hi guys,

I've been fishing BOQ for a few years now but mainly in the spring. I've been reading up about the fall fishing and from what I understand, Wtemps between 40-50F are what we are looking for to start the migration. Based on Superdad's comment, would the migration be started now? I'm targeting to be on the water on Nov.12 weekend. Any one have a good starting point to suggest?

Appreciate the info, looking forward to sharing with you guys!

I'd assume so! Was marking lots of fish out in the reach last week and managed to get a couple
