First timer on the bay this time of year. I'm looking to fish adolphus reach. What's the best launch in the area? Thanks.

Finkles in Bath, but you'll have to make the run across the Gap, Best bet, Glenora Ferry, it will put you right in the reach, not sure if you'll be iced in or not as they are calling for cold weather the next few days and I did see a video of PB&J Charters breaking ice this morning on the way out of Picton. As well I read the docks are out at Deseronto....

Good Luck
Tim

I called glenora marina and he said there was ice in the harbour and they aren't open tomorrow. Glenora ferry launch is on the north side near adolphustown correct?

If the wind is up, Finkles in Bath can be a wicked run into the reach.

Have a decent-sized boat and button up front of the windshield. It can get pretty hairy out there when the wind is up.

Just wondering what the water is like from Sherman's point to Thompson ... has it iced over last night?
