what is up!? Im writing this thread because My brother and I are traveling from Syracuse New York and trying to do some ice fishing on the Quinte! Im not asking for gps coordinates or any hot spots like that just looking for a friendly ice report for the big bay, hay bay, picton area? Also if anyone knows of good public accesses for getting out onto the ice would be wonderful also. Thanks so much guys and tight lines!

I would suggest potters. You can come feed the perch with th rest of us. Or it could be gobies I'm not sure. Im thinking of dropping more $$$$ for an underwater viewer. That way I can entertain myself.

potters is no secret its just west of Belleville. If you look on here on the forum you will find a map with location access. On a side note, make sure if ya are fishing to get the non resident fishing licence if you are coming from the states, don't want to get caught without it!.

Also keep an eye on here and watch the posts about ice conditions. there are some areas known for "safe" first ice, but ice on quinte can change quickly due to current and temp. ice in places right now is iffy.
