I fished all over the bay today and could not believe how many perch there was, it didn't matter where I went or how deep! I have never seen that many perch before . Has anyone else been noticing the crazy number of perch everywhere? Anyways started at big island ice was 6-8 inches Belleville was kinda sketchy 3-5 inches

The worst is when two or three perch are so close together on the flasher screen that they look like a giant walleye marking. You get that big mark to come off bottom and then start to see the separation of the group of perch. What a tease. Lol. Tonnes of perch out there for sure.

Is there any size to the perch? They're tasty little buggars .

Caught about forty today, only 3 would have been keepers if I kept them. average size was 3-6 inches. I was at Potters

Probably the reason walleye are slow. The small perch would be keep their bellies full like the shad do.
