This morning i got out for the first time since the new freeze and got my first eye a nice 10 pounder, at big bay. 6 guys combined for 6 fish 10lbs being the biggest.

whats better? Scoring, or getting a 10 lbser through the hole?

well i have only scored 1 this year so its pretty sweet but catching a fish like that is great to. biggest fish i have ever caught through the ice. to bad i didnt get more days off of hockey.......lol

well, although i only played up to midget A level hockey, i reffed up to Midget AAA.

I love hockey!

You playing next fall/winter?

if so, i'll get ya out for some open water Walleye if you'd like.

Hey Steve I've been reading this board for over 2 years now and have been reading all your posts and would love to get into some of those eyes you were catching. I'd love to hook up with you sometime if you have a free spot in your boat so you can show me the ropes. A 5 pounder is a big one for me.

i've thought about guiding...but then fishing becomes work.

so i'll leave the guiding to the professionals.

i'll stay amature, lol. much more fun.
