I remember someone posting about a grate they made to attach to a buddy heater to heat or cook...have looked for the post but cannot find ...anybody remember this

I went to CTC and found a tray that was perfect for my buddy heaters, in the pots and pan area. No mods needed it has the the hooks. D

I pop the grate off my medium size buddy heater, flip it upside down and insert 2 of the prongs into the top holders of the buddy heater.

this puts the grate at a 90degree angle in front of the flame.
you can put a full pot on safely or small frying pans.
mine did not boil water but got it hot enough for coffee, tea, instant rice, canned soup etc..
i stopped bringing my burner out because the buddy heater worked so well.
if i find the picture of me cooking i will share it.

I've seen this done also. Works great. Especially to toast/warmup old fashioned plain donuts from timmies. Mmmmm
