I keep my minnows in my garage, it typically stays just above zero in there through the winter. I use a 38L tote from canadian tire and a bubbler from petsmart, the whole setup was about 40 dollars. Now I'll buy 3-4 dozen minnows at a time and take what I need each time heading out. I'll feed them a pinch of goldfish flakes about every 3 days depending on how many minnows I have. I'll change the water every 3 or so days only changing 50% each time. I've kept minnows all winter long doing this.

By the way that's a nice looking setup fry flier.

Thanks it is a portable live well I made for the tinny, an old cooler and a Marine Metal Super Saver 12-volt Aeration Kit use it in the boat for fish and also in the basement for minnows.

Lol you must have better luck than me! Most times I struggle to go through a dozen each trip!
