I can't tell because I am looking from my phone, but is that a wave or a pressure crack? I hope it didn't open up.

A lot of creeks are flowing pretty good so you are bound to find some areas in tight where it's opened up. I know there's some coves on Wellers that are open. Give it a night or two, should be good to go by Friday afternoon...

Just checked Wind Alert. Trenton Air Force Base is 31 MPH gusting to 40. not kilometers.
I wonder how much ice will be left on Quinte by noon tomorrow.
Think I will take a drive in the morning.

Did it break up in the reach at Bayside and Huff's? If not, forecast looks pretty good to lock it back up.

Looking to head out to Bayside tomorrow, any updates on current ice out there? Feel free to PM if you'd prefer. Any information would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Cheers

Anybody been out at Bayside since that warm weather and rain? I know there was 5 inches out there before, hoping to head out in the morning. Any info would be great.

6" in most spots I checked, but could still spud through in one hit in other areas so still use caution ( I went out and checked it yesterday ) . I wouldn't want to be walking in the dark without a light, you might end up wet......

Thanks FishinScuba. I went out this morning and there was 5-6 inches where I was, lots of people were out as well. There were some spots where the ice wasn't as thick, spuds always a nice thing to have.

Anybody been out off Bayside lately? I could see a couple huts out the other night from Potters, just wondering what the ice is like. Last I heard there was only a couple of inches.
