Quinte Fishing

Hey guys, I'm about 3 hours away and was hoping someone could shed some light on the reach... with the upcoming forecast, my ice fishing adventures are seeming less and less doable... I was wondering if anyone knew whether the reach was still open water, and if not whether u think it would be by next weekend, along with any of the launches....

I was thinking maybe giving another shot with the boat!

Ice at huffs was 2.5 to 3.5 inches yesterday

i was in the reach yesterday . i measured 4 inches however it isnt very consistent and you are limited on where you can go. you really cant go to the right of the red barn at huffs. big crack and the ice looked sketchy. there were about a dozen of us to the left. there is also an hairline cracl on the left with water coming thru but we all crossed it without problems. didnt get any eyes but got a couple perch. it was making ice last night but the shoreline was open in spots and theres no way itll hold with the warmup.
