Did I read it right. 200 yard boundary ? Is this a fishing derby. Or a circle jerk ? Lol

Lol. The point is we will all spread out but fish in the same general area.

In the first few Battles of the Bay I marked out an area with stakes and red tape. Reason being to keep participants in that area so the walleye can be quickly weighed and released if the angler wishes to release the fish. Also The first Battle was not a derby. Grizzly & Land Shark organized it to meet a bunch of guys on Quintefishing.com board. ( only 20 guys) and then it got expanded.

It's all about friendship, meeting people and raising moneys for the Cops & Kids fishing day,

Al

Not sure if I am going to make it. Will be a last minute decision for me depending on work. Does anybody know how much ice there is out there now? Looks like mild and wet weather coming up next week.

Hey guys

The Perfect Vue camp will provide the tables and a large BBQ. It is the size of 2 or more BBQ. We also have 2 popups that can be used for the cooking area.

Are you still expecting to have the tourney with the lousy weather forecast for this week?

This event happens to raise money to help kids get or stay interested in fishing.

Sounds like a couple of board members are really hoping for a circle jerk... 8O
I wish I could make it unfortunately the young lads hockey is eating up my time. Good luck to all that attend.

looking forward to this. The weather is going to be +6 with low winds. More like spring than winter. Hope the fish are biting

Well we are sad to announce the the Battle on the bay is cancelled , report today stated there was only 4-5 inches of punky ice today covered with water and with the warm weather forecasted for Fri and Rain and warm for Sat , better to be safe than sorry , Thank you very much to everyone who contacted me offering to help , hopefully we can make this happen next year , tight lines and good luck for the rest of the season
