Quinte Fishing

Seen a few posts about lads sniffing around open water by the skyway bridge,.. My son and I have been out last 4 days.
So far all we got is a nice eater 4.5 lbs or so. We have no finder in the boat so they may or may not be there. We got the one on a gum ball jig n minnow. We had a few nice hits with the minnows bit in half. (Time for trail hooks) we know the area pretty well in regards to depths current strong points structure etc, we're out everyday weather permitting.. If anyone can or wants to give some advice on luck they've had fishing this area in the past itll b appreciated. Heading out shortly to give it another go,, ill post results

Two of us were out today to see how hard it was to launch a boat we didn't have a motor so getting around was a little tough. Had the flasher with me and had a few follow ups but no takers landed some perch but no jumbos. Might give it a try again tomorrow

We were back out, carp laying around by the hundreds snagged a couple, had a couple good hits. other than that notta. Back out tmro if the weather's good ..
