Jeff just called me, he is in 42 FOW off Huff's, fishing out the screen door of his sub. Slow out there, only caught 1239 walleye but all dinks between 98"-110". Says the ice above the sub is 54" thick and if he sees you fishing above him he promises not to break through near you when resurfacing. Best of luck and stay safe!

Its open water at the point at shermans, most of this end of hay bay is open water, theres still some by the shermans launch and perfect vu but I wouldn't be on it.
