Quinte Fishing

Checked out stocking reports and decided to give rainbows a try on Egan Lake. Lots of fish put in that lake each year. Fished it two days. Lost one fish at the hole. Didn't see it but felt like a decent fish. A couple of other bites in the 2 days. Tried a variety of lures and colours. Moved around the lake. Fished mostly 7-10 feet of water.

Just wondering if anybody else has fished this lake hard water or soft with any success?

That place is an absolute zoo in the summer. I used to go there in the summer when i was younger and fish for bass and camp. Now there is 10 to 15 trailers there almost every weekend and sometimes blocking the launch. Parked right in front of the sign stating no camping x distance to lake. Spent many years fishing that area and know it well. It is an absolute *** show in the summer there on any of the lakes.
