Took a drive down Long Reach, Sherman's Launch and Finkle Parks.

Everything except a spot at the northwest corner of Ram Island is frozen. Picton Bay and Adolphus Reach are still open.

Huff's is frozen over and the parking field is available. There was no one out at noon and no tracks in the snow going out to the ice.

I didn't have a spud to test the ice and there was no one to ask, sorry.

Sherman's Launch has shacks out, but no where near the mouth. You can walk over the wet spot at the ramp.

I could see a couple of shacks on the south side of Hay Bay.

Finkles is open water and the ramp is usable. Just a little ice on the ramp and no frazzle.

Please send me a PM on Huff's ice if you go out.

Thanks

This site the most phased site I ever been on.....you hive half the +++++ info and then expect ppl to receive a pm just tell them way it is ppl from great distances come to the bay and a report without waiting for a pm would be greatly respected.....heres one and it's not a pm I WAS AT Q54 well. 6 km way I hit 3 to 4 inches the bay should be good by the end of the week aslong as it doesn't get warm again

STOP THINKING YOU HAVE THE HOTTEST SPOT ON THE BAY NO MATTER WHERE I GO I GET 2 OR 4 IM SURE IF I WAS USING MINNOWS ID GET MORE...
But Then where is the challenge

Roblin took the time to post a good report that included info on a bunch of general areas with pictures. Why the rant about that?

The PM's keep trolls away and prevents info from coming up in general google/yahoo/bing searches. Look at the users online "Bing [Bot], Google [Bot], Yahoo [Bot]" these are search engines mining for data.

Thanks Bud. Really helpful for me because I live 4h from Quinte and we have a trip planned for the week-end that is coming. The more info I can get, the better.

That is downright mean. I understood every word. They might not be in any coherent order but understood every single word.
