Has anyone been out at onderdonks lately and was just wondering how thick the ice is thanks

"I would recommend using caution in the Onderdonks area. The ice has not grown at all from the south shore. The area where I went down is still only averaging 4-6" of ice. The ice itself is not strong ice. I fished out by the green buoy last Friday and the ice went from 7-8" down to 2-4" and then back up to 7-8". I was amazed how many people were bombing around on their bike just like what I was doing. "
