I took a drive today out to Huff's the ice looked sketchy with lots of spots. I spoke with one guy there and he said he wasn't going out. There was one lone sole out fishing towards the point.
I then drove down to Sherman's Point.
Parked at the boat launch and saw a few portable huts not far off the boat ramp. Lots of noise coming from the ice.
Took some photos once I figure how to add Ill post them,

Just got off the phone with my brother in law he fished Sherman's point today from 1pm till dark brought home 20 jumbo pearch threw back 2 small walleye lost 2 really nice ones half way up to the hole he marked another 6 cruising threw said there was 5 to 6 inches of ice always proceed with caution all caught on jigging rap with minnow head I will be out this weekend good luck to all its time to fish quinte stay away from huffs *** ice

Ill be out tomorrow and maybe saturday in a Blue teepee style clam hut

This what brother in law came home with from Sherman's tonight with 4lb 2 ounces can't wait to get out tomorrow afternoon
