Ice is gone at the gap but can't get there from finkles yet. Still lots of ice in the bay to float out too.

Thanks for the heads up about Finkles. Hopefully the ice will be gone in the next few weeks.

My personal feeling is that with the warm temps In the next week we prob just need some good wind to make it happen. Hoping for next weekend

Satellite images show the channel north of Amherst island, and therefore Finkles, as completely iced up.

Actually it's not that bad. Not much to go to get to bath. Image

I was by Finkles on Wednesday AM Here's what I saw.

I would think some of the ice that I saw east of Bath may have moved in, there was a ship at LaFarge Dock.

Cheers

Was clear Friday afternoon at the launch and gap. The ice was from Bath to Collins bay but was broken up and could still drift into the gap depending on winds.

All wide open now, with a few mini-bergs floating by every now and then so be careful!
Question: Does anyone know where I can buy sucker belly, or failing that, where and when the sucker runs take place in Napanee-Kingston area?
