Can anyone tell me where to buy some sucker belly? Failing that, can anyone tell me where and when a sucker run would take place in the Napanee-Kingston area?

The suckers usually run around mid April here in The County, down near Waupoos, not sure about Napanee area, looking forward to seeing a Leafs/Habs series this year...or in the near future. Actually, a Leafs / Any team playoff series would be great!

This time of year, we used to net them in the creek just North of Napanee.

Not sure of the name but we always called it Brandon's Creek and accessed from the old 401 quarry road.

Good luck

Cheers

Not sure if it's an issue, Habfan...but the rainbows will go up that creek so not sure where the cut-off is or legalities of using a net above the train track.

Please post though as I'd be curious how it works out or if there is a cut-off.

Good luck.

Just out of my own personal curiosity, what do you use sucker belly for?
