well met Horsehunter at the ramp at 9:00 and had a brief discussion with Muskyrob another board member , decided to start out at the red can south of Grape island made several passes starting in 30 fow and working out to 50 fow,,,,,nothing , Kept heading south out to deeper water still not marking any 8O , pulled up and ran out to Timber island , nada, zilch , zippo , Talked to the Laker Master Rob Eve's out by the false ducks and came to the conclusion we should have just stayed in closer to shore , headed back in to big bar down one side , up the other marked a few pinned to bottom , was in contact with Big Mac and Jim Lyon and they had picked up a couple , finally we went over to the county side of the gap and set lines in 30 fow water where we usually start and lo and behold we picked up two quick ones go figure , then the wind started to come up so we called it a day , not the greatest results but another great day on the water , was great talking to the guy's and sharing info , :D

We started near red can like you said and worked in 80 ft trolling the break to shallower water and caught 8 !!
Deep diving cranks didn't work only spoons on dipsy divers or with snap weights worked.
we would troll shallower but every time we got to 80 fish on!
Lots and lots of bugs in air on seats on floor in face crazy!
We fished from 10 till about 430 nice light chop made for easier time with four rods out

Good report Trophyhunter.
Great pics. Muskyrob. Is that 4th one with the more wiggly markings a Seneca strain ?

Managed 1 out of my human powered boat Sunday around noon SE of Nut.

Hey Bill, was nice chatting with you out there. Glad you were able to get into a few. Strange year for the lakers for sure, not in the area as thick as usual.
