Hello Everyone...good luck with the upcoming opener for those participating.

In Mid-May I get to pick up my new Rig from Bay Marine, and obviously includes a test run and I thought I may as well include a few hours of fishing...while I was there anyways.
I usually fish the eastern section of Bay of Quinte and have never been much west of Telegraph Narrows in all my years of fishing the Bay so looking forward to giving the Trenton Area a wee go. Any advise on a few general areas to try would be much appreciated from those familiar with the area.
Also any nasty surprises out there I should be cautious of, I probably won't venture too far from Bay Marine area but bringing a Walleye or 2 home for the wife for diner will probably ease the shock of the bank account debit!

Thanks for any help.

+1 on this. This is my first year boating and also fishing the bay. My boat is near that area for the season and I wouldn't mind a point in the right general direction either :P.

Congrats on the new rig...

The "ice fishing map" can show you the "basic" areas on the west side, same areas can hold fish in the Spring.... there are also some popular spots in Trenton up the river, towards the dam, as well as the mouth of the Trent, (from the bridge(Freshco)out towards the Bay.) can be really good.....on the map if you collapse the little screen, with the on screen arrow, it will show you the "basic areas" out from Trenton and Belleville

Excellent...Thanks for the reply Littledog, I appreciate that. Looks like I can launch and have right at it from out front of Bay Marine.
