Below I have posted the link to the safe boating guide. Take a moment to review pages 15-19 which identifies the required safety equipment by boat size then go out to your boat and check it over. We all know the OPP and the MNR will be out in full force this weekend and you don't want to be "That Guy" being escorted off the water or even worse and have a situation arise where you need it. I have also been asked for my boat ownership by the OPP, fortunately I had it on hand so I dont know what if any penalty there is for not having it.

Go down the page to section 205 and it says flashlight and 3 flares???
I thought that was only for off shore over a knotical mile?

I love how the first aid kit list is so detailed

Any boat over 19'8" must have flares on board if more then 1 nautical mile from shore.
