Fished Deseronto and Long Reach last Sunday. Mixed results in Deseronto with a two 15 inchers boated between 7:30 and 9:30. Long Reach was another story as we finished our 2 person limit off in short order. All fish came on erie deries in 10-12 fow between 10 am and 11:30 am. Home in time for lunch.

This past Saturday was rocking also out of Belleville. Boat was in the water around 12:30 pm. Fishing by 12:45 first Walter in the boat by 12:51. Started trolling again and noticed a boat in the distance with some guy waving frantically. Pulled the gear and headed over to investigate. Guys electronics were dead and his motor wouldn't start. Towed him back to the launch and fishing again by 1:15. We had boated 12 Walters by 3:30 (kept 8) and was home in time for dinner. All fish came between 8-11 ft of water.

I have to end this report with a bit of a rant. We launched at Herchimer on Saturday and was blessed with a lineup of people waiting to launch. Not a big deal at all, but when there is two bass boats parked on the "in" side of the ramp, with no intentions of moving, and their are LOTS of space to park on the "out" side, or better yet, at the docs on the west side of the launch it really slows things down. There was barely enough room to launch a boat. You can easily fit 3 average size boats on the "in" side of the doc which helps to move things along when its busy. FFS! Been a common theme this year so far. Some bass boat owners own the water and the boat launches apparently!

Thanks for the report! I've been having a tough time in Trenton and been wanting to try Belleville. This makes me thing I've been fishing too deep? I assumed the fish would be as deep as possible come mid day.

I haven't spent a lot of time fishing 8ish FOW. I'd imagine you dont get much of a reading on sonar at the depth, and if you do, does it spook the fish to be right on top of them? Excuse my inexperience... I'm trying to learn! Any suggested areas would be greatly appreciated :P.

older guy with a beard? I saw him right at the bridge if so around 945 am and he was having trouble. He was using his trolling motor but I guess when that died he called for help.

Was a younger guy with a woman. Guy was late 20's early 30s.

I just thread a half a worm up the hook. Leave a bit to dangle.

Priceless on being schooled... So you got the classic Ronnie giggle... I miss that!

Hopefully when things slow down we will stop in and see him.
