Hi guys, I've been putting in 9-10 hr hour days trying to figure out theses bay of quinte bass and can't even get a limit in the month of August every year. I'm seeing big bags coming in every tournament and just can't understand where everyone is finding the bass. I fish Belleville bay and muscote bay mostly and can't figure em out. Are they way off shore or just on a very specific structure?
Just a little kick in the right direction would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks

I am by no way an expert but the last 2 weeks I have been doing very well really shallow. Just fished today and the shallow bite was still on for me. Just using flippin tubes, craws and dingers nothing special. I have been catching them in the craziest looking cover that I see. At times catching my share of little ones but there have also been some nice fish as well. I prefer to fish a little deeper but I have been inconsistent at best with that bite in my end of the bay this season. Hope that helps!

That's great thanks a lot. I'm wondering if this higher than average water is screwing them up a bit. Every bass I catch is very random. Never more than 2 in one area. I'm wondering if big schools just follow bait fish around throughout the hottest month of summer. August for some reason seems to be very frustrating on the bay every year.

all my fish except one freak 4lber we caught trolling in 16ft of water; have been very shallow. just went out with my old man the other day on a secret little lake and we couldn't find a fish the first 4 hours. That is until we realized all the weed beds we were fishing had already went brown and the only green left on that little lake was the lily pads, pencil reeds and a few spots near some cold water creeks (all less than 5 feet of water). once we picked up on that boom we had 4 2lbers and a few 5+lb pike in the boat
