I know Walleye is king in the Bay of Quinte, and I know some huge Walleye can be caught in the fall.

Just wondering if anyone targets here targets pike in the fall in the BOQ?

It seems I'll go to other lakes and whether I am targeting them or not, I'll be catching pike.
For the past number of years, I have caught numerous walleye, and bass, but rarely am I catching pike.
Does the BOQ not have a numerous population of pike? Generally I launch out of George St. or Herchimer so maybe that area does not have a lot.

I would love to catch some this fall, any advice would be much appreciated. Even if I will have to launch out of different areas. Not looking for anyones hot spots or specifics...just a point in the right direction.

Or (and I know I am definitely stretching myself if I haven't done so already), if someone is going out for pike and has an empty spot in there boat or just wants some company, I would love to join them.

Thanks

Waupoose is my favourite pike spot. bay's, coves, green weeds seem to produce in the fall.

if you have a depth finder that shows water temps look for the cooler areas of the bay that still have green weeds. mouths of streams and rivers are often good spots to check. once it cools down they will be a bit more active I think this extreme heat probably pushed them to deep weed edges

I love targeting pike in the Fall myself to have better chance of getting a big 'un. I've heard of 20-30lb pike caught by walleye trollers in BOQ but they are rare

I try n target pike as much as possible,, this year I've only got one 7lb by ungers and a 5lb by foresters island.. I fish the narrows pretty much daily and always throw bigger baits early morning before going to traditional sized baits hoping to get a traveller.. to me larger pike are becoming harder to come by.. I've caught 10lb'ers from shore years ago.. Im hoping to get something this fall
